The Guardian's Child (Jack Frost x Reader) Part 2

You stared at Kathy and Jack... You wondered why they argued so much, but a million other things raced through your head. You realized that Sandy was gone, "Hey guys... I'm going to head back.." You said as they seemed to ignore you. You saw the sun set and a flash of green. The flash triggered a memory so distant, so far away... But yet it was familiar to the snowy nip that wind gave to your face. You started to walk away, looking back at Jack and Kathy. You started to hum songs and walk into the tree forest that hid behind North's workshop. You looked back after walking for what seemed like three minutes. You thought there was no one around as your voice trailed on through the trees. You heard a voice behind you

"You're quite the voice aren't you?" you heard Jack say as your eyes turned sharp "You're quite the stalker aren't you?" You crossed your arms, embarrassed that he found you humming and singing to yourself. "Hey I wasn't mocking you.. Yet." He smirked.

You overflowed with embarrassment and looked at him, glaring. He just smiled and flew toward you, his face was almost a movement away from yours. "Don't worry, I don't bite, hard." he smirked again as your eyes narrowed "I do bite hard, so get out of my face." your face turned red as you both heard North and Katherine calling you. You're eyes turned wide as Jack turned back to you. "Look, we both know that we're attracted to each other. But you're my enemy's daughter, you and me, never going to happen." Your eyes widened as you looked confused.

Jack snorted and laughed "Your face! HAHAHA!" He flew upward as you turned away. "I thought he meant it.." you thought to yourself as your cheeks grew red again. You grew angry and puffed "Not funny!" You started to walk off as Jack caught your arm "Hey! Wait, it was only a joke!" you glared and yanked back your hand "A joke!? You nearly gave me a heart-attack! I thought you were going to kill me!" you walked away faster as Jack yanked your hood on your blue shirt, "Let me go!" You struggled to make him let go of your hood "KATH-" Jack covered your mouth and snorted "Calm down, I'm taking you back." you crossed your arms as he lifted to onto him "I can walk." Jack raised a brow to you "You were limping... Can't you feel it?" you stared at your ankle "Not really." The coldness of his body gave you chills as your lips turned blue "Oh yeah, we're going back to North's." Jack said and stopped floating around in the sky.

He zoomed to the door, Kathy and North glared at Jack and crossed their arms "Like father like daughter." he whispered to you as you both snorted. "Jack, why were you talking to her? You know until she's under protection of a guardian no other guardian is able to interact with her!" Kathy screamed. Jack glared "You're treating her like an animal!" "Am not!" North rolled his eyes and pulled the two off the ground. "Sorry dad.." Kathy pouted, Jack just gave a bored expression.

You thought to yourself "There's a lot of drama between Jack and Kathy.." North instructed you, Kathy, and Jack to go sit at the table in North's hall. It was large. Of course, you sat next to Kathy, but Jack was right in front of you, so you couldn't help but stare at the frosty boy. You felt a chill in your spine as he caught your eyes. You turned away as North burst the doors open, the guardians you had met earlier were there, they all brought certain items. They placed them in front of you, even Jack. You started with the Easter egg as you held it, it shriveled into ash. Your eyes widened as Kathy told you to pick something else. You looked at the spiral of dark mist as started to play with it, you grew wary as it climbed up your arms in the form of a horse. You pushed it away as it roared at you.

You looked at the lighter golden mist, but it was just the same.. Jack's item was a square ice.. You stared at it as you found an idea of what to do with it, you tapped it in certain places as it formed a snowflake. You looked up at Jack, he was smiling. You sighed, the snowflake swirled at Jack, he caught it and blew it back gracefully. "Um." You started to say as everyone stared at you. North shook his head. "That is not possible. Jack and you are but of the same age." Tooth whispered in North's ear as he stared at Jack "Well, they don't seem to like each other, even as friends." Tooth continued to whisper to North as his expression turned bleak. "Jack, you are to train her until he is known to the children." Jack smirked, "Don't blame me if she whines to you." you crossed your arms, smirking back. "I'll whine to you." Jack smiled slyly, "Jack." He turned back to North "She is your uh.. How do I say this." North laughed and smiled Tooth looked at Jack "She's your girlfriend, to put it like people and children say nowadays." Jack widened his eyes as you did "What?!" You said, and stood up, "I'm all for spending time with people but of all people,Why HER?" Jack said and flew upward. You grew angry from all of his insults and the fact that you hadn't slept for what seemed like four days. "Why don't you go spend time with children and I'LL stay here then!?" you pounded the table as Jack came down to you glaring. "Fine then! You know what! Stay here! I'll go spend time with Jamie!" you started to grow frustrated and teared. Jack stared at you blankly as you turned away, freezing the door off it's hinges, you ran outside. The guardians, and Kathy, glared at Jack "You made her cry." Kathy said coldly. "I've never made someone cry before..." Jack said and frowned.

You ran off, muttering about the name "Jamie", you were consumed by a strange portal as you appeared inside a boy's room, "What the.." A boy walked into his room and eyed you "Who are you..?" you stared surprisingly at him "You can see me?" Jamie stared at you back "Yeah..?" your eyes turned wide "You know Jack Frost don't you?" you asked eagerly "Yeah, he's my friend why?" you collapsed onto the floor "Can you contact him or anything?" you started to grow hotter "Please open a window or something, it's too hot in here..." you sat in the coldest corner of the room as Jamie tried to call Jack like children do.

You started to grow dizzy as your hair started to turn lightened blue, Jamie gasped as you stared at yourself "No way.." you looked up at Jamie "You can fly can't you?" Jamie said and opened the window more. "Do you mind if we fly for a little? Jack hasn't been coming by that much anymore.." you tried to fly upright like Jack normally does but you hit the ceiling "Ow!" you rubbed your head as Jamie chuckled awkwardly "Well uh I think you're going to be suck in my room for awhile until morning, my mom won't let me out in the dark.. and it's not snowing.." you smiled "Snow." you thought Jamie smiled brightly "Can you try to make it snow?" he asked excitedly, you walked to the window as you breathed frosty wind, around Jamie's house and the neighborhood. You frosted the window, painting dogs on the window and making them run around Jamie's room, he laughed as a figure came behind you, "Jack?!" you turned around to see a glaring figure staring into your new midnight blue eyes.

"How'd you get here." he climbed into the window as you backed up to the wall. Jack was very close to your face again... But you didn't feel angry, or embarrassed. He edged closer and realized Jamie was here. He backed away as you relaxed. "Come on. I have to show you something." Jack pulled you closer "We'll be back tomorrow Jamie, get some sleep, tomorrow is going to be a major snow day." Jack smiled as Jamie grinned, running back to bed. "See you tomorrow Jack!" He said, as Jack nodded. You stared at the two, there was never a bond like that in your memories, or in fact, any memories at all. Jack took your hand and pulled your waist out of the window "Hey!" You broke away from him and flew upward "No no no! Wait, carry me!" you yelled as he laughed "I think that is going to be the only time you'll ever say that." He teased "I'm never going to say that.. ever again." you smirked, "Never say never." he smiled and landed in a forest,A lake.. Your eyes widened as you turned to Jack. "You.." Jack smiled and nodded. "Yeah."
