The Guardian's Child (Jack Frost x Reader) Part 3

You stared at Jack, you remembered what that Green Flash before the sunset meant. "You... You found me after I was abandoned.. Right before sunset when the green flash barely ended you promised me that I would be safe.." Your eyes widened, full of salty tears. Jack stared at you as if admiring your face, snow started to fall lightly.. You noticed the longing in his eyes and his expression lonely.

"I thought you forgot about me when Tooth erased your memory..." Jack began and sighed coldly "I was worried that you would hate me, because I was the reason you were erased." your eyes were sharply back at his "What.. Do.. you mean?.." You started to say, choked by what your answer from him might be. "I... knew.. you were special when I first saw you." Jack walked closer to you and held his hand, almost to your face.

You flinched and backed away slowly "Why me? You gave me no memory of my family once so ever?! Just because I was special!?" You started to feel frozen tears fall from your face as snow began to fall rapidly. Jack turned away from you, you thought he did something wrong that made him turn away, not being able to look at you. "You should have seen what they did to you! No child is supposed to go through what you did!" He yelled, you stared blankly "CHILD...? CHILD!?" You roared as the snow turned into a blizzard, "YOU EYED ME WHEN I WAS A CHILD?! I'm barely six-teen Jack!" you rose from the ground and sharply turned, Jack becoming farther and farther away. "WAIT!" he yelled after you he too, tore from the ground, flying rapidly after you.

You were consumed again by something else... But now Jack with you, as you landed in front of North and Kathy. "Jack, we're taking her back into North's protection." Tooth started, picking you up. Your head sharply turned to Jack, as he stared back at you, he turned crossly to North "You.. You can't! She's already chosen me!" Jack's eyes, you came to notice, looked sad and sorrowed, as if he was a small child, longing for a present a Christmas that never came.

"Sorry Jack, my egg was enchanted by Pitch." Bunnymund glared at Pitch, who laughed as if it were a practical joke. "She was meant to be my daughter." Bunnymund crossed his arms as you widened your eyes. Right now you were confused, you couldn't think straight, right now seemed better to be with Bunnymund than to even be a yard near Jack. You stepped near Bunnymund as you noticed changes in your skin, you felt a shiver and then warmth. You saw Jack stare at you with longing and loss of hope, you started to wonder if this would be a bad decision, especially for Jack.

Bunnymund put his furry paw on your shoulder as you felt something you hadn't before. You felt parented love, you smiled to yourself as Kathy and North smiled at you hopefully. "It's not FAIR!" Jack screamed as he jabbed his staff into the ground, you frowned and felt something on your head go downward. "Huh?" You looked up and surprised, you saw you had two large, white, furry ears above your head, you assumed you had a fluffy cotton tail as well. You realized you were wearing now, furry white gloves, (due to the fact that you weren't born a guardian, you remained partly human.) your skin was pale white still, just like Jack.. you were wearing the same type of clothes, but white furry boots with paw symbols en-carved in them, your clothes were spring themed, like Bunny's holiday season. You wore a belt with a carving dagger and a set of magic paints. You turned to Bunny smiling, you wanted to be with Jack someday.. but.. you couldn't heal from the unknown pain when you stared into his pale blue eyes.

Bunny announced that he was going back into the Easter tunnels and taking you home, that we would be back after you were finished training. Even though you weren't a full-bred rabbit, or guardian, you were always good at running, or so your mind told you now. Bunny said he would carry you after widening the tunnels, so it was best you stayed here while he did so, Tooth and Sandy said they had . You sat back down, feeling your cotton tail twitch. Kathy giggled at you "That look, it really suits you." you smiled and chuckled "I don't know what I'm going to tell Jamie, he was the first one to see me change.. to.. Yeah.." You trailed off as Kathy sat next to you "It'll be alright.. I mean... Maybe he'll cool down, he is frost after all." Kathy chuckled at her small joke, you wondered, "Will he ever calm down...?"
